Sometimes, at the end of the day, it’s just nice to know you helped someone out.  (The nearly 700% markup doesn’t hurt either.)

… but those who follow me on Twitter may have noticed that real life has been giving me a nice kick in the teeth lately.  Posts will return once the improbability drive has hit a 1:1 ratio.

• Discovered a while ago that once you get to the room with the boat in Deadmines you can get on your mount.  Pulling all the way to VanCleef was done with much chortling after that.
• Going to make a post arguing in favor of PvP gear for new 80s, because so many people have a visceral reaction to the first half of this sentence.  Yes, I know when it comes to PvE content PvE gear > PvP gear, but there ARE exceptions and I’m tired of people telling me I’m going to do crud DPS or not be hit capped when I’m over my hit cap performing quite well in heroics and OS runs.
• Speaking of which, traded Boom the raptor for a wolf because I wanted to try it and couldn’t bear to abandon any of my other pets.  Got one from Mulgore because it barks when you click on it.  I think it’s simply adorable, much more so than the tattooed monstrosities that seem to be popular these days.
• Osplat is inching closer and closer to 40.  I already have the gold needed for dual-speccing set aside.  Once that happens I’ll readjust his Prot spec to be more “Tank-centric” and less “LOL I’m a tank because I threw points randomly into Prot!”  I’m seriously looking forward to trying out Arms spec – would probably already be Arms if I wasn’t so thrilled about Osplat’s near indestructibility (relatively speaking, of course).
• Elume is no longer an Enchanter.  This was inevitable, since thanks to Armor Vellum I didn’t feel the need to have two Enchanters anymore.  She’s now … Inscription.  So I can make my own Armor and Weapon Vellum.  *cough*  She’s still a tailor though, so I have to have my one alt with Herbalism grind for her or scour the AH.

There’s been a death on my wife’s side of the family, which means a road trip to somewhere we’ll have no internet access except on our phones, and even then reception will be poor in many places. (Mountains will do that to you.)

So, yeah. RL > Blogging about a video game.
