Fortune Favors: Yet another World of Warcraft comic.
Fortune Favors is a little comic named after my main's guild that I do in my free time. Once a week (assuming I'm inspired enough and/or not too busy) I make a short little comic using WoW screen captures that pokes fun at the game and/or the people who play it. This one's my favorite so far:
I'm always looking for new ideas. Mail me in-game if you have a good one and I'll give you credit if I use your idea.
Still Got It
A madman died today.
I'll admit it, I was a little worried that perhaps I was a bit too old for this job - perhaps my family was right all along, that I should just stay at home and continue to study the ways of the light as I had been in the years after my retirement.
And then I went to Westfall. That place has fallen under some hard times, but the people who stayed, and people like me, are doing something to make it better. The Defias think they own Westfall now. They think the land ca belong to whomever is strong enough to take it. Well, ha! There isn't a Defias in Westfall that can take me down, now that I'm back into the swing of things!
Turns out there was a whole hideout carved into the mountains in Moonbrook, led by some guy named VanCleef. They said he was the leader of the Defias. Eh, I have my doubts. Man was supposed to be an archetect. That's a job that requires some serious learnin' and smarts. A man with that kind of education should've known that if a group of five adventurers was able to fight their way through his mines, he wasn't going to stand a chance.
In truth, he didn't. Man went down faster than that tauren fellow we had to kill to get to him. I say "we," but truth be told I didn't do a whole lot of bashing - turns out my years as a priest came in handy for blessing my companions and healing their injuries, and I'm pretty good at it if I do say so myself.
Now VnCleef may or may not have been head honcho of the Defias, but he was at least in charge of the ones that were in Westfall. With him and a good many of his followers now pushing up daisies, I think Westfall might be a little bit safer. Time for me to move on.
Hm, last time i was in Lakeshire they seemed to have a bit of a gnoll problem. I think I'll stop by and see if I can help them out with that...
No Relation
I'd just like to point out, for clarity's sake, that there's more than one set of grandparents in the world.
I've met the Stonefields. They're good people, really, even though some of them have a bit of a problem getting along with the neighbors. That being said, Gramma Stonefield is not, nor has she ever been, my wife.
Pardon our dust...
My skill in creating a home for our guild can only stretch so far. I've enlisted the aid of several gnomes to help get everything more habitable, and the results have been ... rather explosive. Expect everything to look much better once we air out the smell of spent blasting powder, wipe away the soot, and figure out which arm goes with which corpse.((OOC Translation: Site's working, but still getting the bugs out of the user interface. I'll be modifying the theme over the next couple of days as well.))
